Based on an awesome Dinosaur Comic and hundreds of reader contributions, Ryan North and friends made an anthology of stories about the Machine of Death. As an experiment, they organized a flash mob on Amazon where everybody was encouraged to buy the book on 26. October. And it worked - they went no. 1 on Amazon’s sales ranking! Sweet little indie publishing stunt. Sadly I didn’t discover it until a few hours too late, so can’t say I contributed much…
